Ancient One mkII

AusSabers welcomes back our first Darksaber inspired hilt for three years – The Ancient One mkII!

The first impression you’ll get of this hilt is just how solid it is. Coming in at just under a kilogram without the blade installed, this makes it one of the heaviest sabers in our range – outdone only by our own Incendius Steel Edition.

The pommel, removable by taking out the one silver screw on the lower grip, features a D-ring to attach it to a belt.

The grip has texture and makes this hilt feel very secure in the hand. The switch segment is built into the upper grip, and features a simple silver plunger to operate.

The tsuba, a slanted angular piece, is glossy black in contrast to the matte black and dark grey of the grip. The emitter likewise is glossy, with 4 slots cut into each side of where the blade sits before terminating in a slant at the very top.

The blade included is not your typical round polycarbonate blade – instead we have a more accurate flat style, black strip through the middle with the edges illuminated when the saber is on.

This saber features the increasingly common “floating” core; simply unscrew the one silver screw just above the pommel, slide the pommel out, and then you can access the core for charging or board configuration.

This saber truly is a solid and worthy collectors’ piece.

All installed sabers come with a blade, charge cable/external battery charger, blade retention screws and spares, as well as instructions. Please note the blade included here is unique and will not fit any other saber, nor do regular blades fit this hilt.

Length of hilt overall is 312mm. Grip is 44mm at the widest measurement. Saber weighs 975g without the blade – please keep this in mind when ordering as this is considered a very heavy saber.
