This is almost always low battery. Triple tap the switch to get a voltage readout. If it’s less than 3.6, it might be worth charging
Alternatively, sound can glitch when the SD card is not being read correctly. In this case, it can be useful to remove the SD (take the battery out first) and backup the files completely, before formatting the card and reloading the files. A new SD card may also help with the problem; just backup the files from the original card and load them on a new class 10 or better micro SD.

This means the proffieboard is not reading the SD card correctly.
This can happen when the saber is on very low charge (you may hear this when you plug the saber in and it’s been stored for an extended period of time)
It can also mean the files on the SD do not match the configuration on the saber. Assuming you’ve not made any changes to the config, this may indicate that the files on the card are corrupt or missing. If you have fully charged the saber and are still getting this issue, check the SD contents and contact us for assistance.
This is likely because your Proffieboard is in “Battle Mode”. This mode can be enabled or disabled while the blade is on, by triple clicking the switch (hold the switch down on the third click; “click, click, hold”). You’ll hear a beep to signal that it’s turned off again, and then the saber will function normally.
