Coppervergence

Well we’ve done it again – accidentally put a saber into the bbq until it turned orange.

This Convergence started life as a plain black one, but due to chemistry, wizardry, and a bit of Aussie culture, we’ve managed to alter the colour to a gorgeous coppery gold. Hence, Coppervergence!

In every other respect it’s a normal Convergence – same glass eye, same brass greeblies, same control box card. This one is installed with Xeno3Pix so you can’t duel with it, but it will look fantastic as a display or cosplay accessory. And really, where else can you get a copper coloured saber from? We’ve even put a black core into it so it’s not quite so “golden” all over.

Despite appearances, this saber is aluminium and not real copper, so it won’t tarnish like copper does. We still suggest gentle handling however as the cooking process will have made the coloured coating a little less durable than it was.

All installed sabers come with a blade, charge cable/external battery charger, blade retention screws and spares, as well as instructions.

Overall hilt length 305mm. Diameter is 33mm except for the control box section (control box is 9mm high at highest point). Please note control box attaches with screws to the front of the switch module – only compatible with switch modules with front holes either end of the button/chargeport holes.
